Excel Packaging Redesign

Project goal was to take an existing food related brand and redesign their packaging. For this project, I chose Excel because their packaging hasn't changed much since the early 2000's and I wanted to see how I could implement some of their past marketing strategies to attract a new clientele. The goal for my campaign was to attract students and school staff with the eccentric design and add a collectible incentive. Each pack would have a collectible card with a star mascot, once you collected all 5 stars you could be eligible for a prize money draw which could help with student loans or other school related expenses.

L’objectif du projet était de prendre une marque existante que nous pouvons retrouver au supermarché et de refaire son emballage. Pour ce projet, j’ai choisi Excel car leur emballage n’a pas beaucoup changé depuis le début des années 2000 et je voulais voir comment je pouvais mettre en place certaines de leurs stratégies marketing passées pour attirer une nouvelle clientèle. L’objectif de ma campagne était d’attirer les étudiants et le personnel des l’écoles avec le design excentrique et d’ajouter un incentif. Chaque packet aurait une carte à collectionner avec une mascotte étoile, une fois que vous avez recueilli les 5 étoiles, vous pourriez être admissible à un tirage qui pourrait aider avec les prêts étudiants ou d’autres dépenses liées à l’école.
